About Us
Having a passion for the craft of woodworking sets us above the rest. It is all about the details.
Lake Superior Refacing came about in 2018 as a branch off our existing business, 218 Woodworks, established in 2013. We had a couple of requests from customers for only refacing their cabinets versus us building them brand new ones. Those projects turned out beautiful, and we realized the need for this more affordable and time saving option. Kitchen refacing is now what we specialize in.
Our business' started small with us having memberships at Duluth MakerSpace. Over time, we acquired our own tools and soon outgrew that space. Next, we rented a workshop in the old Duluth Timber Warehouse. Within a few short months we outgrew that space as well. Our current shop is located in Carlton, MN and we service A large area around the Twin Ports.
